Dear Prospective Volunteer,
Thank you for your interest in joining our 2009 volunteer team. The 2009 Pilot Pen will once again mark the end of the six-week, 10 tournament summer-long Olympus US Open Series and afford fans the opportunity to see some of the best players in the world and a host of rising starts in both the men’s and women’s draws. We hope you will join us again in 2009 for an exciting week of great entertainment both on and off the court!

As a Volunteer or Ball Person you will receive the following amenities:
Uniform – Two (2) tournament t-shirts and a hat. Volunteers provide Khaki shorts or slacks to complement uniform. Ball Persons receive shorts as a part of their tournament uniform.
Complimentary Tickets – Six (6) tickets to early round sessions, Sunday, August 22 – Tuesday, August 24 and Wednesday, August 25 (Sessions 1-4 & 6). Volunteers that commit to and complete ten (10) or more shifts by Thursday, August 26 will receive an additional two (2) tickets to the women's final on Saturday, August 28 (Session 12).
Credential - Access to stadium court through the quarterfinals and unlimited access to other tournament courts.
Meal Coupons - For each shift worked. $9.00 per shift ($18.00 maximum per day)
Free Parking - Within walking distance from the tournament site on the days that you volunteer.
Volunteer Party - Prizes, food and fun.
In return we ask the following commitment from you:
Attend a mandatory training session for your assigned volunteer area. You will be notified of the time of the training session when you receive your area assignment.
A minimum of SIX (6) SHIFTS during the tournament. You may double up your shifts for commit to fewer days.
Online Registration System:
We have a new online registration system in place this year. If you are a returning volunteer you should have received an email with a pre-assigned login and password. Once you have logged in and confirmed your User Name and Password, your information we have on file for you will appear. You can make changes as needed. If you are a new volunteer or did not volunteer in 2008, you will be asked to create a login and password. Please click here to access the online registration system.
As you can see, we offer a comprehensive reward package because we appreciate your work and commitment. The tournament could not run without you. So whether you are coming back for the tenth time or are on board for the first, we look forward to seeing you August 20 – 28 at the 2010 Pilot Pen.
